Malankara Catholic Church is one of the oriental Catholic rites of the Catholic Church, based in Kerala, India. It belongs to the Antiochian liturgical family formed by the reunion movement with the Universal Catholic Church by the Malankara Orthodox bishop Mar Ivanios in 1930. It consists of about half a million faithful all across India and different parts of the world. His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos is the head of the Church.
